Envee

Envee Terms of Service

Effective date: September 4, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Envee (operated by its individual owner, "we," "us" — contact below), not with Apple. By creating an account you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use Envee.

1. Who can use Envee

You must be at least 13 years old (16 if you live outside the United States). Envee is offered in the United States. You must give accurate information, keep your password secret, and use only one account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

2. Your license to use the app

We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Envee app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the app or its data, or use automated tools to access it.

3. Your content

You own what you post. Your closet, rankings, notes, comments, and photos are yours.

License to us. So the app can work, you grant Envee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt (for example, to generate share cards and thumbnails), and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting Envee. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content you already shared with others and copies kept in routine backups for up to 90 days.

Your promises. You confirm that you own or have the right to post your content, that it does not violate anyone's rights (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights), and that it follows our Community Guidelines. Only post photos you took or have permission to use.

Public by default. Closets, rankings, notes, likes, and comments are visible to other members (to your followers only, if your account is private). Notes appear on your friends' feeds.

4. Prohibited conduct

Do not use Envee to: harass, bully, threaten, or defame anyone; post hate speech, slurs, or content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality; post nudity, sexual content, or intimate images of anyone; post violent or shocking content; impersonate any person, brand, or Envee; post others' private information; spam, scam, or post unauthorized advertising; manipulate rankings, likes, or follows with fake accounts or automation; infringe intellectual property; sell counterfeit goods; break the law; or interfere with the app's security or other members' use.

5. Moderation and enforcement

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, with or without notice. We provide tools to report content and block members, and we aim to act on reports within 24 hours. We are not obligated to monitor content, and we are not responsible for content posted by members. You can appeal an enforcement decision by emailing closetapp.mail@gmail.com.

6. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

We respect intellectual property. If you believe content on Envee infringes your copyright, send a notice containing: your contact information; a description of the copyrighted work; the location of the infringing content in the app (username and item or comment); a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. Send it to our designated agent, Nathaniel Sugar (Envee), at closetapp.mail@gmail.com. Our agent is also listed in the U.S. Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory. We will remove or disable access to infringing content and notify the member, who may file a counter-notice. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

7. Non-consensual intimate images

We remove intimate images posted without the consent of the person depicted within 48 hours of a valid request, along with any identical copies we know of. Anyone — member or not — can request removal by emailing closetapp.mail@gmail.com with the subject line "Image removal," the location of the image, and a statement that you are the person depicted (or authorized to act for them) and did not consent. We will give your request a reference number and confirm what we did.

8. Third-party content, shopping links, and prices

Product names, brand names, photos, prices, and retailer links are provided by our catalog partner (Channel3) and by retailers. We do not verify them, and prices and availability can change. Purchases are made with the retailer, not with Envee; the retailer's terms apply. Brand names and product images belong to their owners; Envee is not affiliated with or endorsed by any brand or retailer.

Affiliate disclosure. Envee may earn a commission when you buy through a "Shop this item" link. This never affects rankings, scores, or what appears in your feed. The Trending section is curated editorially and is not paid placement.

Price alerts are informational only and may be inaccurate or delayed.

9. Termination

You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. Sections 3 (license to content already shared), 10, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

ENVEE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT PRODUCT INFORMATION IS ACCURATE. Some states do not allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENVEE AND ITS OWNER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF ENVEE OR ANY CONTENT OR PRODUCTS ACCESSED THROUGH IT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Envee and its owner from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the app, or your violation of these Terms or anyone's rights.

13. Disputes

Informal resolution first. Before starting any formal dispute, email closetapp.mail@gmail.com with a description of the problem; we will try to resolve it within 30 days.

Arbitration. If we cannot, you and Envee agree to resolve any dispute through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. Class-action waiver: disputes are resolved individually; you may not bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action. If many similar demands are filed together, the parties agree to resolve them in staged batches. Opt-out: you may opt out of this arbitration section by emailing closetapp.mail@gmail.com within 30 days of creating your account. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a dispute, the arbitration agreement does not apply to that dispute. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.

Governing law and venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding permitted by this section must be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York.

14. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and Envee only; Apple is not a party and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Envee, not Apple, is responsible for the app, its content, any warranty claims, product-liability claims, and claims that the app infringes third-party intellectual property. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited parties. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

15. Changes and general

We may update these Terms; we will post the new version with a new effective date and notify you in the app for material changes. Continued use means you accept the changes. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines are the entire agreement between us. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale.
